Timber Ridge Golf Course is pleased to announce the addition of The Pro Impact Golf Academy to their list of fine golf services. Director of Instruction, Steve Auger invites you to his private teaching deck and is excited to share his ground breaking teaching techniques with you.

Golf Teaching Professional Steve Auger comes to Timber Ridge armed with over a decade of teaching experience. His clients range from absolute novice beginners to competitive amateurs to tour professionals. During the course of his professional tenure, Steve has become a true student of the game. His fire and passion for teaching the game was ignited during his time as a pupil at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy at Lake Nona in Orlando, Florida. “I get more gratification out of helping my students play better than I do my own game.” Soon after this realization, Steve turned his focus to teaching the game full time and has never looked back.

Steve continues to pioneer his own stamp on the game as he has brought to life along with trusted colleagues his newly branded teaching methodology, Pro Impact Golf. To date, Team Pro Impact has a stable of 9 professionals in their network with coast to coast representation from Vancouver to Nova Scotia.

Steve has exclusively targeted enthusiastic golfers close to his home town and is dedicated to continue the education of his current students as well as welcoming new players to the sport. As far as the growth of the game is concerned, Steve could not be more dedicated. 10 years ago, Steve launched The Next Generation Junior Academy which introduces golf to the area’s children and is still running strong today.
